On September 12, 2006, TAG-Heuer hosted a special gala, in New York City, entitled "Strength and Beauty, Embodied by Avant-Garde Women". This event marked the unveiling of a special project of TAG-Heuer, in which 15 "avant-garde" women from 15 countries were photographed by prestigious women photographers. According to TAG-Heuer, these portraits mirror all the facets of modern women: strong, engaged, independent and still extremely feminine. Through this project, TAG-Heuer expresses its committed vision of today's women through watches that reflect powerful design and avant-garde beauty.
