Heuer Autavia Reference 1163T ("Siffert" Model) -- Comparison of Hands
There are three version of the Autavia Reference 1163T (known as the "Siffert" Autavia). The first version (very rare) is marked "Chronomatic" above the Heuer logo.  The second version has polished steel hands, the numbers 3-6-9-12 on the hour recorder and is marked "Autavia" above the Heuer logo..  The third version has brushed steel hands, with blue inserts and triangular blue tips, and the numbers 1-through-12 on the hour recorder.  The photographs to the right show two different styles of hands that were used on the second version "Siffert" Autavia: The earlier execution of this version (on the left) has polished steel hands, with luminous inserts. The later execution of this version (on the right) has polished steel hands, with luminous inserts (toward the ends of the hands) and dark inserts (toward the center pinion).  Thanks to Alex Peters for these excellent photos.
