In recent days, some folks have been asking me about “What’s New?” on the new OnTheDash website. In as few words as possible, here’s an overview of the content of the new OnTheDash:
- Watch Finder – the gateway to the all-new OnTheDash database; find chronographs by browsing, selecting features or searching the entire database.
- Chronographs – we have added numerous new models and samples; see how many of these new watches you can find.
- Racers Wearing Heuers – brand new section, with lots of photos and information; completed for some racers and others to come soon.
- Related Brands – entirely new section covering the “Poor Man’s” Heuers; completed for some brands and others coming soon.
- Military timepieces – entirely new section; we have the shell; content to come soon.
- Auctions – section is entirely reworked, we added numerous catalogs and hundreds of auction results
- OTD Blog – all postings have migrated from the old OTD; some news postings added for the launch
- Notes – an all-new section, for quick postings; we posted eight samples
- Stopwatches – we restructured the section and added a lot of stopwatches
- OTD Instagram – new section; shows many of the watches that have come into and (sometimes) out of my collection
- Celebrities – some new ones added (Seinfeld and Kubrick)
- Catalogs – we added a few new ones
- Collecting – migrated the postings from the old OTD
- Movements – some minor updates
- Logos and Specials – some new ones added
- Dash-Mounted Timers – not many new ones here
- OTD Archives – for some postings that needed a home
- Chuck Maddox Collection — not posted yet, but it will be
- Master Reference Table – still under construction
