The following Master Reference Table presents summary information regarding Heuer chronographs that were produced from 1935 into the 1980s. This table includes brief descriptions of the watches, the year the watch was introduced, the movement used, and the dimensions of the case. 1960s Chronographs
Various chronographs that Heuer introduced in the 1960s; these are the “Economy” models, usually with chrono-plated cases, that were less expensive than the Autavia, Carrera, Camaro and Monaco, for example.

Autavia
Heuer introduced the Autavia in 1962, and production continued into the mid-1980s, with almost 90 models and executions being offered. All Autavias feature a stainless steel case with a rotating bezel.

Heuer introduced the Camaro in 1968, and production continued into the early 1970s, with approximately 50 models and executions being offered. All Camaros have cushion-shaped cases, with manual movements.

Carrera
Heuer introduced the Carrera chronograph in 1963, and offered the model in approximately 110 varieties into the 1980s. With manual, automatic and quartz movements; cases made of stainless steel and gold; and chronographs as well as “three-hand” watches, the Carrera was offered in more varieties than any other Heuer watch.
A. Carrera 12 Chronographs
Carrera 12 chronographs were three-register chronographs, powered by the Valjoux 72 movement, having 12 hour chronograph capacity. The Carrera 12 models used traditional round cases, with distinctive angular lugs.
B. Carrera 45 Chronographs
Carrera 45 chronographs were two-register chronographs, powered by the Valjoux 92 movement, having 45 minute chronograph capacity. The Carrera 45 models used traditional round cases, with distinctive angular lugs.
C. Carrera 30 Chronographs
Carrera 30 chronographs were two-register chronographs, powered by the Valjoux 7753 movement, having 30 minute chronograph capacity. The Carrera 30 models used traditional round cases, with distinctive angular lugs.
D. Carrera 45 Dato and Carrera 12 Dato
The Carrera 45 Datos (Reference 3147) are manual-wind chronographs, with 45 minute chronograph capacity, and a date display. The Carrera 12 Datos (Reference 2547) are manual-wind chronographs, with 12 hour chronograph capacity, and a triple calendar display (day, date and month).
E. “Poor Man’s” Versions of the Carrera 12 Dato Chronographs
