The Best Game-Master You Will Ever See

This is the nicest Game-Master you will ever find. Condition appears to be NOS / mint, and it comes with all the goodies -- original strap, pouch, box, store receipt and guarantee, with the orange sticker on the back of the timepiece. It appears that the strap was never attached to the watch (or maybe it was removed immediately after the purchase)

The Game-Master was a special timepiece produced by Heuer in the 1960's. It's a massive stopwatch, that is worn as a wristwatch. The dial features the customary 60-minute arrangement (count-up), and the rotating bezel features a count-down track. This is a huge watch, at -- mm across the dial, and 22mm between the lugs.

The case, pushers and knobs are near perfect. Looking at the lugs, it appears that the strap was never mounted to the watch. The knurled knob locks the bezel into position, and it works perfectly.

The main crown (to the right in the photo shown above) is for winding the watch, and for starting and stopping the timer. The smaller pusher (to the left in the phot shown above) resets both hands to zero. The knurled knob on the pusher locks, to prevent the timer from being accidentally reset. Crown and pushers operate as they should.

I believe that this is the original Corfam strap, and it appears to have spent the last 37 years, protected in the box. These straps, also used on the Monaco and other chronographs, can sell for $200 in this condition.

We see a lot of the orange stickers floating around, but I'm not sure I've ever seen one on a Game-Master. The condition of this sticker would seem to confirm that the watch was never worn.

Here are the original plastic punch and box. This pouch was made specifically for the Game-Master, and is different from the one used on the Ring-Master.

If you have ever wanted to own a Game-Master, this is the ultimate example. A piece that belongs in a museum or to display in your trophy case.
