Year-End
Sale (2006) / New Year's Sale (2007)
As
the old saying goes, its "Ring out the old
and bring in the new". So to mark the end
of 2006 (a year in which I bought too many
watches) and the beginning of 2007 (a year
in which I plan to buy a few and sell
a few), here are a handful of watches that
may be of interest to the Chronocentric
crowd. Thanks to Chuck for coming up with
this idea. There's always something nice
about buying and selling among friends,
and so I hope that these can find a
hew home "in the family". If not, they go
onto ebay, in early 2007.

Reference 510.503 -- In pewter, powered by the
Lemania 5100, complete with all the goodies
(bracelet, box, outer cardboard, price tag, hang

Game-Master -- The very best sample of the
Game-Master that I have seen -- appears to be
unworn, without the strap ever being attached.

two-register chronograph, with true 24-hour
indication. A beautiful mid-sized chronograph,
powered by our friend, the Valjoux 7733. Running
strong; chrono functions properly; keeping good

Baylor
"Camaro Lookalike" chronograph. No, it's not made
by Heuer, but this is the best looking "poor man's
Camaro on the market. This watch wears well and
runs well, with a Landeron 187 movement. Price is

Automatic
Autavia, with unique orange trim. Sure is looks
like the "Siffert" or "Viceroy", but this
unique Autavia is trimmed in orange, rather than
the blue or red. Perhaps the rarest of the
Autavias. Price is $1,350. Click
